So I am writing my VERY first blog .. go easy please.
The reason I am doing this is tell my story about my newest adventure! I have been in the insurance industry for about 5 years now and it is simply not enough! I am a single mom to a wonderful 10 year old... I want to always make sure she has nicer things than I did as a child. So let's begin my story!
Since about 2009 I have been using Scentsy wickless candles in my home {I have a problem} ... ! haha...
I was addicted after my first purchase ... so when I decided that I needed more income for my little family ... Scentsy was my first thought... and ... honestly why wouldn't I sell it? I called my consultant and asked questions... she was happy to answer ALL of my questions! {which is good becasue we played 20 questions.. :) }
I now have my starter kit ... and am so excited to start selling this wonderful stuff and also meet new people ... With me being a single mom working full-time I don't have alot of room for going places to meet people. I started out with my family and facebook ... then I emailed all of my email contacts and let everyone know that I am now an Independent Scentsy Consultant! ... what do you know ... my first order! *sigh* I did it so now I know that it can be done ...
As of today I have been a consultant for less than one month... and I already booked a festival/fair, have a "basket" party booked, and am working on having a "home" party! {I met another girl who just signed up and she is upset that she hasn't sold anything yet and my advice was get off the couch... don't be stuck at your own stop-light! Hit the gas and get creative with it!}
Hopefully your still reading and not sleeping! I promise I will get better at this with time!
